    Barbara Brookes

    Barbara Brookes is Professor Emerita in History, University of Otago. Her work has focused on the intersections between the history of women and the history of medicine. She is the author of the prize-winning, A History of Women in New Zealand (Bridget Williams Books, 2016). She is completing a biography of Anna Longshore Potts, provisionally entitled ‘Performing Medicine’.
