After returning from postgraduate training in England, practised from 200 Willis St 1934 – 1943
Honorary Visiting Ophthalmic Surgeon, Wellington Hospital 1934 – 1939

Then went to New York where he practised as an Ophthalmologist for a time, before returning to live in Auckland.
