Postgraduate experience at the Shropshire Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry, and at the Royal Southern Hospital, Liverpool, in both places under Sir Robert Jones.
Studied at the Mayo Clinic 1927, and at the Lockwood Clinic, Toronto 1928 – 1929
Orthopaedic Surgeon, Wellington Hospital 1929 – 1950
Resident Commissioner, British Red Cross Society and the Order of St John of Jerusalem, London 1940 – 1941
Instrumental in the founding of the NZ Crippled Children Society, the NZ Association of Health, Physical Education and Health, and the NZ Orthopaedic Association.
