Clinical Assistant, West Riding Asylum, Yorkshire; Assistant Medical Officer, Newcastle-on-Tyne; Assistant Medical Officer, Hants County Asylum;
Assistant Medical Officer & Deputy Medical Superintendent, Bristol Borough Asylum
Came to Wellington in 1884, and was appointed Medical Superintendent Mount, View Asylum (1884 – 1887).
In August 1885, he was given an additional appointment of Acting Medical Superintendent, Wellington Hospital, after the dismissal of Dr Chilton. He remained in that capacity for a few months until the appointment of Dr Kenny.
Medical Superintendent, Sunnyside Mental Hospital 1887 – 1904
Elected a Fellow of the Royal Colonial Institute in 1909. Awarded MBE in 1918
