Medical training at Guy’s Hospital
Assistant Surgeon, Royal Navy. Arrived in NZ as Ship’s Surgeon on the SS Aorangi
First registered as a medical practitioner in NZ 28 Aug 1886
Initially practised in Patea for 9 years. Public Vaccinator for Waverley and for Patea 1887
Surgeon, Patea Hospital 1887 – 1895
Then visited England before returning to NZ, setting up practice in Newtown in 1896.
Honorary Physician, Wellington Hospital 1900 – 1904
