Began medical studies in Dunedin, completing them in Edinburgh
During WW1 served with NZ Mounted Rifles; wounded at Gallipoli
Postgraduate studies in London and in Minnesota
Returned to NZ in 1923. Lived in Karori.
Honorary assistant Physician, Wellington Hospital 1924 – 1925
Honorary assistant Urologist, Wellington Hospital 1926 – 1927
Emigrated to Jerusalem in 1928, joining the staff of Hadassah Hospital
Head of Surgery, Hadassah Hospital 1930 – 1960
