These pages contain profiles of medical and dental practitioners who have held senior staff positions at Wellington Hospital since it first opened on the Newtown site in 1881.

In some instances, little information had been made available to Ron, but wherever possible, a brief description of the contributions made to the hospital is included. In addition, Ron has attempted to give context to each appointment by describing the relevant staff structure of the times plus other contemporary comments of possible interest.
